Need some DEmotivation

I hate those motivational posters, calendars, etc. They are just so darn optimistic and hopeful. Whereas I am more frustrated and cynical. Despair, Inc. and ThinkGeek happen to have posters, postcards, desktoppers, etc. just for people like me.

Some of my favorites are:
Potential – Not Everyone Gets To Be An Astronaut When They Grow Up

Procrastination – Hard Work Often Pays Off After Time, But Laziness Always Pays Off Now

Motivation – If A Pretty Poster And A Cute Saying Are All It Takes To Motivate You, You
Probably Have A Very Easy Job. The Kinds Robots Will Be Doing Soon.

Meetings – None Of Us Is As Dumb As All Of Us

Apathy – If We Don’t Take Care Of The Customer, Maybe They’ll Stop Bugging Us

Search with a gansta twist

Why just “google it” when you can “gizoogle it”?

Gizoogle will search google’s listings for you and return the results in ebonics. Searching has never been so freakin hilarious!

CAUTION! Addictive game ahead

Tuesday Experimental Gameplay was featured on “Attack Of The Show” and ever since i can’t stop playing “Tower of Goo”
There is no need to install the program you can run it right from your desktop. My only complaint with the game is that it doesn’t have a pause button…well that AND the fact that you have to change your screen resolution to 1280×1024 just to play the game….HOWEVER don’t let that stop you…this is a very fun game.

You can download the game in .exe or .zip form.

UPDATE:
There is a re-sizable .exe version…but i couldn’t get it to work on my machine running windows xp professional.

Also be sure to check out Experimental Gameplay’s other games.

Del.icio.us and Gmail

I love my gmail account….however one of the few things i love MORE than gmail (ex. my girlfriend, my dog, family, diet coke, etc) is del.icio.us.
In case you don’t geek out quite as much as i do, you may not know that del.icio.us is a social bookmark manager that allows you to sort your bookmarks and makes them accesible to you online. You can also search other individuals bookmarks….and view popular bookmarks. In a word it is ADDICTING!
I visit del.icio.us at least 4 times a DAY…and i bookmark pages constantly. Well….now you can backup your del.icio.us bookmarks INCLUDING (and this is the BEST part) a copy of the webpage you bookmarked. I raise my glass to Bill Mill for writing the API to do this.
